A Flock of Black Sheep

A novel by Warren Scott-Morrow

Picaresque mavericks abound in this warped comedy which bounces between Guernsey, Oxford and Birmingham (and beyond).

Its ‘hero’ Marcus Random is an erratic off-beat quirky oddity with his own set views and obsessions, going his own sweet (and sour) way through a nine year snapshot of life, unable or unwilling to compromise.

Despite not wishing to settle down he avoids casual relationships, and one girlfriend becomes an on-off major part of his life.

Time travel is a real – or perhaps imaginary – part of his existence, as the years go by.
